The singer is a natural-born performer, and no one could have stopped her once she made up her mind, even if it looked like she was throwing away other talents.
What many people don't know about the glittering "Tik Tok" star is that she's actually quite intelligent. You wouldn't exactly know that, looking at her crazy rock star lifestyle at face value. But we're talking about the girl who brilliantly snuck into Prince's recording studio compound Paisley Park to ask for a record deal in her early days, after all. And the woman who stood up for herself against her producer Dr. Luke and record label. Her life is very contradicting, but she knows how to use her intelligence when she needs to.
Kesha is actually just as smart as her fellow female pop stars like Madonna and Shakira, who can speak four languages, and falls into the group of celebrities who have the highest IQ scores, including other surprising celebrity geniuses like Snoop Dog, who we also didn't see coming, and Ashton Kutcher, who hides his knowledge behind his dumb characters.

She Had A Near-Perfect SATs Score
Songwriting is in Kesha's blood. Her mother, Rosemary Patricia "Pebe" Sebert, co-wrote the 1978 hit song "Old Flames Can't Hold a Candle to You," which later went to Dolly Parton. Kesha would often come along to her mother's gigs and basically grew up in various recording studios.
As a child, her singing talent immerged, as did her flashy style. She didn't fit in with the other kids because of her purple hair, but she fit in as a marching band kid, playing trumpet and sax. Her other extracurricular activities included writing songs with her mother after school.

"When I was in high school, I'd come home, and for fun, we'd write songs together," she told NPR. "I wrote every song on this album. I always knew it was what I wanted to do. ... I never believed in having a backup plan."
NPR wrote that Kesha has a "strong intellectual curiosity that extended beyond the music world." She went on to score a near-perfect score of 1500 out of 1600 on her SATs.
"I was very studious," she said about her time in school. "I was in the international baccalaureate program, I loved physics and math, and I was in the marching band. After practice, I would drive to Belmont [a college in Nashville] and listen to Cold War history classes; I just think it's so interesting. I was really curious about a lot of things that are much deeper than partying and dancing."

However, Kesha dropped out of high school, and somehow, after getting that kind of SAT score, Ivy League schools were calling. Soon enough, she was accepted to Barnard College, which is an affiliated college of Columbia University. After three months, she dropped out to pursue her music career. According to You, Kesha planned on studying psychology and religion.
She Also Has An Above Average I.Q. Score
Along with having an excellent SAT score, Kesha also has an even better IQ score of over 140, which basically makes her a genius.
According to Medium, this report is true. "The primary source of Kesha’s IQ is Kesha herself. Would she have a reason to lie or exaggerate? … The bottom line is that she’s the source. Although she dropped out of high school, according to her, she was in the IB program and took AP classes, and scored high on her SAT."
Some fans even noticed that "Theory of Knowledge" is an IB course, and it is commonly abbreviated as ToK, leading many to believe that's where the singer got the name for one of her most famous songs, "Tik Tok."
According to 123 Test, a little over half the population's IQ scores are in the average category, ranging from 90 to 110. Only 15.7 % of the population score into the above intelligence category with scores ranging between 111 to 120, and only 6.4% score as gifted between 121 and 130. Kesha is part of the 2.1% of the population who can score anywhere above 130. Some people call this the genius category.

The writer thinks that Kesha is mainly talented and innovative, which we would agree with. She has expert songwriting skills and overall music knowledge and is innovative in what she does.
You can see proof of her innovative skills just by looking at what she's accomplished in pop music so far. While promoting Animal in 2010, she said, "You can't take for granted that this is pop music. It's not rocket science, it's not brain surgery, and I'm gonna stand by the fact that I'm proud of this record. I'm not a moron, so there."
