HTC’s Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update is rumored to arrive today, although an official announcement from HTC is not available at this time.
A few websites including Android Community and HubFr speculate that the Android 4.2.2 update could arrive today. The latter points to a message posted by HTC France yesterday on its Facebook page that reads something like this (after translation):
Advice for tomorrow: drink a good coffee and check your phone – repeat if necessary…
The message doesn’t specifically mention the Android 4.2.2 update, but what could be the reason for posting such a mysterious status update?
Furthermore, a French HTC ambassador tweeted a few hours ago that Android 4.2.2 with Sense 5 on top is coming today:
Naturally, this is still unconfirmed news, so we’ll just have to wait a while and see whether HTC is indeed ready to start rolling out the OTA update for the HTC One today or not.
