Young Grace Flemming had a bad experience when she got her first tattoo, and posted the results on TikTok to warn people. She wanted to get a tattoo of Olivia Rodrigo's song "hope ur ok", but the tattoo artist made a massive mistake and completely butchered the lyrics.
The song goes "address the letters to the holes in my butterfly wings", but her wrist sadly reads "butter wings," which not only makes no sense but also sounds inexplicably hilarious.
On her now viral TitkTok, Grace said to people "this is your sign to always double check the spelling before you get a tattoo." She jokingly tagged Olivia Rodrigo and asked her to change the lyrics so she felt better, but she never expected Olivia to see it, much less respond to it.

She spoke with Today and admitted that, after getting a reply from Olivia, she's warming up to the tattoo.
She says the tattoo artist who misspelled the lyric offered to fix the mistake, but now she doesn't know if she will take the offer.
"Not changing it definitely makes it more unique and special," she pointed out. However, the song still means a lot to her, so she's not sure. "I kind of want to keep it, but also want to get the right lyrics. Maybe I’ll keep this one, and get the right lyrics somewhere else."
Grace Flemming says she knew as soon as she heard "hope ur ok" that she wanted the lyrics to be her first tattoo. "I have loved Olivia since 2015. It was so exciting to have a piece of my favorite artist on me," she explained. She admitted that, when the tattoo artist showed her the stencil, she didn't check because she was so excited to get it done. It wasn't until she sent a photo to her boyfriend that she realized she'd messed up.
"The little bubbles were typing for so long. And I was like, 'What is he going to say? Does he think it looks bad? What is it?'" she shared. When he finally responded, he asked "Did you take out the 'fly'?"
But all's well that ends well, because had she not messed up, she never would have had this funny interaction with her favorite musician.
