If you’re a fan of The Real Housewives, then we’re sure you know who some of the “OG” housewives are. You know, the original women that started on their shows during Season 1, some of the most iconic figures in the Bravoverse. Of these housewives, there have been far and few ladies that have appeared on every single season of their shows. It takes a lot to be a housewife, and it takes even more to be a recurring, permanent member of the show.
However, there have been a few women that have stuck it out, having appeared on every single season (and episode) of their Real Housewives franchise. Who is a part of this exclusive list of women? Who has weathered the storm and bared all for fans to watch throughout the years? Here are the 9 OG housewives still on their shows.
8 There Are Very Few Housewives That Have Stayed On Their Shows Since Season 1
Some of the Real Housewives franchises are gearing up for their 13th seasons, whereas others are wrapping up their 5th. The duration of time spent on a Real Housewives series doesn’t necessarily merit status on a show, but it's obvious that some ladies feel a sense of “seniority” among “newbies.”
There is a limited number of housewives that have been on their shows since Season 1 Episode 1. Why is that, you may be wondering? Well, because it’s hard to be on a reality TV show for that long, that’s why. It has to be especially hard considering the fact that almost all of your dirty laundry is pretty much guaranteed to be aired out on national TV, so that probably weighs a great deal for the women when deciding to continue on or not.
However, there are a few that have done so. Let’s check them out right now…
7 Teresa Giudice - New Jersey OG
Everyone knows that Teresa Giudice is the only OG left standing from RHONJ. While other OG’s have returned to the show in varying capacities, Teresa is the only one that has stayed on for all of RHONJ’s 13 seasons. Really, everyone knows that production halted filming when Teresa went away to prison, so it’s clear that she is one of the integral members of the show.
All in all, Teresa has been through a lot of monumental experiences while on RHONJ. She’s really done it all: She gave birth to her daughter Audriana had a very public divorce from her ex-husband, Joe Giudice, and she’s gone through intense family problems with her brother and sister-in-law. It’s safe to say that Teresa is one housewife who isn’t afraid to bare all.

6 Kyle Richards - Beverly Hills OG
Kyle Richards has been around for all 12 seasons of RHOBH that have aired, and she’s set to be a part of Season 13 that is said to begin filming in early 2023. While Kyle was a household name before joining RHOBH for her role in the major film Halloween, her presence on Real Housewives will stand true in the Bravoverse forever. Kyle is another housewife that’s gone through some struggles with her family on-screen previously with both of her sisters, Kim Richards and Kathy Hilton.
5 Karen Huger - Potomac OG
Oh yes, the one and only Grande Dame of Potomac is a RHOP OG, of course! Karen Huger, along with a few other women that are set to appear on this list, kicked off RHOP back in 2016. While Season 1 arguably premiered not too long ago, it’s still impressive that there are so many Potomac OG’s still on cast come Season 7. Karen has opened up about very personal events in her life while on our screens, including everything from her relationship with her husband Ray to the death of both her parents. What would RHOP be without Karen? We don’t want to know.

4 Gizelle Bryant - Potomac OG
Like Karen, Gizelle Bryant is one of the founding housewives of RHOP. She also happens to be one we don’t ever want to see leave the show — she’s just an amazing housewife. Gizelle is one of the shadiest women in the Real Housewives franchise, and we love her for it. As one of the green-eyed bandits, we can always count on Gizelle to cut straight to the point and get to the bottom of any conflict that may be plaguing the women of Potomac.
3 Robyn Dixon - Potomac OG
Not only is Robyn Dixon the second half of the green-eyed bandits, but she’s also a RHOP OG. If you’ve watched Potomac from Season 1 to 7, you know that Robyn has been through some massive changes while being on the show. In the earlier seasons of RHOP, the state of her relationship with her then ex-husband, Juan Dixon, was up in the air. Fast-forward to Season 7, though, and Juan is now Robyn’s fiancé once again.

2 Ashley Darby - Potomac OG
Ashley Darby has been one of the messiest housewives on Potomac since her debut back in Season 1. If you want to talk about a housewife having a massive journey in front of our eyes, then Ashley is the housewife we need to be talking about. Ashley is one housewife that truly is an open book: She allows for almost any and everything from her life to be filmed or talked about on RHOP. We admire her openness, and like many of the Potomac OG’s, we don’t know what RHOP would be like without her.
1 Honorable Mentions: Marysol Patton, Alexia Echevarria, & Adriana de Moura - Miami OG’s
Like we mentioned, there are very few housewives that have stayed on their shows since the beginning. However, there are three ladies that have been on every single season of the show since Season 1, but in various forms.” Of course, we’re talking about RHOM’s Marysol Patton, Alexia Echevarria, and Adriana de Moura!
Everyone knows that when RHOM came back to Peacock for Season 4 and 5 that Alexia Echevarria and Larsa Pippen were technically the two OG’s to reprise their roles as full-time housewives. Alexia took on a “recurring role” for Season 2 after her son was injured in a car accident, but has been a full-time housewife for every other season. With that, we still consider Alexia an OG that has stayed on the show since Season 1.
Marysol was transitioned into the “friend of” role during Season 3, where Adriana took on the same role during Season 4. However, both of these women have been on the show since it began, and both have stayed on in some capacity. Quite honestly, we’re not really sure why either Marysol or Adriana were ever demoted to “friends” of the housewives, but we consider them OG’s that are still on their shows.
