8 How Many Children Does Sandra Bullock Have?

Sandra Bullock is mother to two children, both adopted. She welcomed her son Louis Bardo Bullock in April 2010, when he was only three and a half months old. “He’s just perfect, I can’t even describe him any other way,” she told PEOPLE magazine. “It’s like he’s always been a part of our lives.”

Bullock was at the time married to reality TV star Jesse James. She adopted her second child in December 2015, a daughter called Laila Bullock.

Jesse James is the only man that Sandra Bullock has ever been married to. The pair tied the knot in July 2005, but eventually ended their relationship after he cheated on her multiple times.

Both Louis Bardo Bullock and Laila Bullock are of African-American descent. It is a unique challenge for their mother to navigate, and she spoke about it during an episode of Red Table Talk with Jada Pinkett and Willow Smith in December last year.

“To say that I wish our skins matched? Sometimes I do. Because then it would be easier on how people approach us,” Bullock said, before adding: “Maybe one day that will go away. Maybe one day we will be able to see with different eyes.”
