Martial arts can be beneficial for both body and mind, particularly, for children. Teaching self-defence, being an excellent form of exercise and creating a foundation of self-confidence, one would be hard-pressed to find a better activity than martial arts. "I just think it's so important to learn self-defense, and I feel so much stronger and so much more confident since seeking out martial arts. I wish I could go back in time and do that."

5 Time To Train

Peyton is well aware of what it takes to bring the Karate badass, Tory Nicols, to life. The Diary Of A Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules star went to great lengths to make Tory Nicols as badass as she could. According to Heavy.com, List decided to go “old school” with her training, “It’s this older guy in a really random part of California, and it’s this one little room and one bag. I just randomly found him — he’s my friend’s uncle. I want to get better. It really is such a fun way to learn self-defence, too, just for life.”

And I was like, ‘I want to be able to defend myself and be able to learn self-defense and fighting.’ Even if I never use it, just to be able to know it feels really powerful.”
