Jesse Sullivan left his followers swooning in early July, when he posted a video commemorating his one-year anniversary with Francesca Farago - but just how did this love story begin?

TheThings sat down with the Interview with My Kid podcaster to hear more about his relationship with the Too Hot To Handle alum.

Jesse Shares How He Met Francesca Farago

Jesse and Francesca have been together for more than a year now, but he still remembers their first meeting like it was yesterday.

Asked where and when he first got an opportunity to speak with his now-girlfriend, Jesse reveals that it all went down at a TikTok Pride Trailblazers live event.

"She actually interviewed me," he reminisces, adding that they'd also spent hours rehearsing the day before the event itself.

"It was all virtual and there were other LGBTQIA+ people being interviewed by her as well."

However, even if there were had been 100 other people on the call, for Jesse, there was just one other person present: Francesca.

"I remember, the second she popped up on my screen, I was mesmerized."

And it wasn't just Francesca's looks that blew him away.

Quite the contrary, he smiles, "it was everything about her."

Jesse Can't Explain His Connection With Farago

Pushed for more detail on what, exactly, drew him to Francesca, Jesse takes a moment to think, before chuckling that it would be near-impossible to put his feelings into words.

"Some connections aren't really explainable," he shrugs.

One thing he knew for sure, though?

"I just HAD to know her."

Luckily For Jesse, That Feeling Was Mutual

Perhaps the person most likely to understand what Jesse means would be Francesca, herself.

After all, Jesse beams that since they became a couple, Francesca has told him she had much the same reaction he did when they first met.

"[Francesca's] told me that since the second she saw me, she said, 'I'm going to make him my boyfriend'."

It seems this coupling may just have been meant to be!

Jesse Shares How The Beginning Of His Relationship With Francesca Unfolded

In light of the obvious mutual attraction, it only makes sense that Jesse and Francesca stayed in contact once the event had wrapped - and from there, the romance blossomed.

"We texted all day, every day after the live, and had 4-5 hour long phone calls, just talking."

One year later, this seems like the appropriate moment to say, 'and the rest is history.'

"We just couldn't get enough of one another," he gushes.

Ending off our conversation, we asked Jesse if he could share his favorite part about Francesca - and while he might not have been able to describe what drew him to her initially, when it comes to describing his love, he has no shortage of words.

"She’s honestly such a kind, sweet, beautiful soul, both inside and out," he smiles.

We can barely stand the sweetness - and we definitely couldn't be happier for these two lovebirds.
